Belvedere at the Bowl

ACM are honoured to continue the tradition of the Belvedere Handicap Half Marathon organised by Ray Wallis for many years. All proceeds to LifeFlight - you make like to make an extra donation and we can take that on the day.

What - Run/walk 21km on your own or get a team together. Estimate the total time your team (or you) will take to complete 3 laps (21 km). Entries may include 1 to 3 individuals.

Start - Start times will vary according to your estimated finish time. The first wave will be at 9:00am.  Collect race numbers from 8am.

Teams -  May include 2 or  3 individuals. Transitions at the start/finish. Buy a "Team" Ticket. Contact details needed for one person only but provide all team member names please. 

Course description - Start with a clockwise lap of the track, out the gate, across the path and along the side of the deer park and up on to the stop bank. Under the Colombo Rd bridge then follow the orange flags along the wetlands path, around Henley Lake, across the car park and to the exit onto Colombo Rd by the Menzs Shed. Left, along the footpath and across Colombo Bridge, hard left and under the bridge. Follow the trail up-river until the new Waipoua foot/cycle bridge.  Turn right across the brdge, turn right again and back along the trail until you reach the Swing Bridge by the club rooms. Turn left, then left again, through the gate and on to the track to complete the lap.

Prizegiving - Following the finish with morning tea – we will aim for about 11:30am. 

Provisional team and individual winners will be announced but only spot prizes wil be awarded.
